 Job Description

Successful candidate will have expert experience in IP networking, utilizing Juniper and Cisco hardware; and all types of IP routing utilizing routing protocols such as OSFP, EIGRP and BGP. Candidate must have a strong background with SNMP. The candidate must have expert level network design experience designing, integrating, installing and troubleshooting global enterprise networks to include QOS implementation on IP networks and ATM technologies (OC-3, OC-12, etc). Candidate must also have expert level knowledge with layer 2 and layer 3 technologies specifically having experience with Cisco, Ericsson and Juniper networking equipment. The candidate must have expert level data center networking experience as well as LAN/WAN optimization experience. Familiar with all data, voice, and video protocol formats and algorithms to include H. 239 H.261 H.264 H.321 H.323; QCIF CIF 4CIF SIF iSIF 480p and 720pl /g.711/722 and T.120. The engineer will work with project managers to create and verify the existence of detailed requirements definitions, fully developed project plans with milestones and timelines, the identification of necessary resources and the successful completion of the project within budge and on time. They will also execute best communication engineering practices in network builds, integration, test and packaging of infrastructure documentation and application solutions. The individual will also direct junior level engineers in efforts needed to complete projects. Technical certification in a relevant information technology field required. Requires a minimum of 10 years experience or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant Information Technology field with 7 years experience or a Master's degree with 5 years experience.
